Turn a sermon into a summary and a deep-dive study

Every sermon output starts here. Bring the message in, then generate the two study pieces first — a comprehensive Deep Dive and a short Summary you can share.

Updated July 2026

Step by step

  1. 1

    Bring the sermon in

Open it straight from a Scripture Live session, upload the audio or video, or paste a YouTube / podcast link. Choose English or Twi (Akan) at upload.

  2. 2

    Let it transcribe

Transcription runs in the background and emails you when it’s ready — usually 10–20 minutes for a full service. Twi sermons also get a faithful English study transcript.

  3. 3

    Set the speaker and gender

Add the speaker’s name and pick their gender — it locks the right name and pronouns into the summary and posts. It defaults to He / him; switch it if the speaker is a woman.

  4. 4

    Generate the Deep Dive

The Deep Dive is the full, comprehensive reference document of the message — the foundation everything else is distilled from.

  5. 5

    Generate the Summary

The Summary is a short ~1.5-page distillation of the Deep Dive — the ideal thing to share with your church or team. Flip the Higher-quality (Claude) toggle for the best writing.

Questions

Do I need Scripture Live?

No. You can upload audio or video, paste a transcript, or point us at a podcast episode. Scripture Live just makes the handoff instant and the transcription free.

Can I do this for a Twi sermon?

Yes — pick Twi (Akan) at upload. We transcribe the Twi, produce an English study transcript, and the whole studio runs on the English automatically.
